|Forum:||web||Subject:||"Wayback Machine doesn't have that page archived" - diacritic character issue?|
I am desperately trying to access a post on a blog that currently doesn't exist anymore. This is the correct, official URL:
When I search for the URL (try it yourself), the Wayback Machine tells me "Hm." and that it "doesn't have that page archived."
...Except that when I actually display the list of URLs that have been captured for this domain, this URL is displayed as having been captured 14 times from Nov 23, 2015 to Sep 29, 2017! But when I click on the link, the same issue happens.
Now as you may see, the official URL includes a diacritic accent ("è"), which is turned by the Machine into its Unicode format ("%C3%A8") - thus the URL becomes: http://blog.turgot.org/index.php?post/Monnaies-parall%C3%A8les
I suppose this must be the source of the error...
Any idea how to solve this problem?

Oddly enough, for the url you talk about now it's possible to access it now if you search for it with %C3%A8 instead of the letter with the diacritic in the wayback machine ( as http://blog.turgot.org/index.php?post/Monnaies-parall%C3%A8les ). At least now I view it here ( https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://blog.turgot.org/index.php?post/Monnaies-parall%C3%A8les ).
But in my case, in the urls I try to access, that doesn't work at all.
There seems to be a bug about this that should be fixed.
